Picture framing provides the finishing touch to artwork of all kinds. It enhances the decor of a home and can pull together all of the design elements in a room. Whether you are a craftsman who will frame things only occasionally or an artist who needs to frame all the time, this seminar will give you the basics needed to build picture frames from start to finish. In a very busy day of instruction, you will learn everything that you need to complete a picture framing job. You will see single or double mats, and mounting board. You will how to miter and join a frame, to fit your own piece of art (print, photo, painting, etc. up to 11” x 14”), and finish the assembly with glass and backing.
